Baraat planning in Karachi

The baraat is the formal centre of most weddings and usually the largest function. It is also where timing problems are most visible to guests. We plan it minute by minute.

What we arrange for a baraat

  • Baraat venue selection and booking: banquet halls, marquees and hotel ballrooms
  • Baraat catering packages: menu, per-head pricing, service staff and serving times
  • Stage, seating plan and family seating
  • Groom’s arrival: car decoration, dhol, band or fireworks where permitted
  • Nikah arrangements if the nikah is held at the baraat
  • Rukhsati timing and transport

Baraat venue and catering packages

Many Karachi banquet halls and marquees sell combined packages that include the venue, a set menu priced per head and basic décor. Others allow outside caterers. We compare both routes in writing, including what is not included, such as extra dishes, service staff, generator charges and overtime, so you can see the real cost per head.

Keeping the baraat on time

Traffic on routes like Shahrah-e-Faisal and closing-time rules at halls make baraat timing critical. We agree a written run-of-show with the venue, plan the route and departure time for the groom’s party, and keep both families updated on the day.

Questions families ask

How much does a baraat cost in Karachi?

It depends mainly on guest numbers, the venue and the menu, since catering is priced per head. We quote in writing after a consultation; see our wedding cost guide for what drives the price.

Can you handle the baraat for the groom’s side only?

Yes. We can work for either family and coordinate with the other family’s arrangements.

What if the baraat is delayed by traffic?

We plan the route and departure time in advance and stay in contact with the venue so food service and the programme adjust smoothly.
