Walima planning in Karachi
The walima is hosted by the groom’s family and is often the last and most formal function. We manage the venue, catering, décor and guest flow so the hosts can receive their guests properly.
What we arrange for a walima
- Walima hall packages: banquet halls, marquees and hotel ballrooms compared in writing
- Walima catering per head: menu options, tastings and final headcount
- Stage and décor, usually more formal than the mehndi
- Guest seating, separate family and VIP seating where needed
- Photography, videography and live streaming
- Final vendor settlements and a closing report
Walima catering per head: what affects the price
Walima menus in Karachi are normally priced per head and vary with the number of dishes, the type of meat, desserts and live stations. Halls may also add service, generator or overtime charges. We set out each quote line by line so you compare like with like.
Closing the wedding properly
Because the walima is usually the final event, it is also when most vendor balances are due. We settle each vendor against their contract, upload the receipts and send you a closing report with the final budget position.
Questions families ask
Who hosts the walima?
Traditionally the groom’s family. We can work for the groom’s family directly or coordinate on behalf of both families.
How far ahead should we book a walima hall?
For winter dates, three to six months. Popular halls in Karachi book out early for December.
Can we see the food before the walima?
Yes. We arrange a tasting and share it on video if you are abroad.
