Doorstep Pakistan

Wedding event planner in Karachi for families abroad

From the dholki and mehndi to the baraat, nikah and walima, we plan every function of your Karachi wedding as one project, with one accountable Client Executive and one dashboard.

In short

A wedding event planner in Karachi coordinates every function of a Pakistani wedding, usually the dholki, mehndi, baraat, nikah and walima, and the venues, caterers, decorators, photographers, sound, transport and guest arrangements behind them. For a family living abroad, the planner also has to be the eyes on the ground. Doorstep Pakistan runs the whole wedding as one project under its Full Operational Control Package: one named Client Executive, a written scope, budget and timeline agreed before any money moves, every vendor contracted in writing, and every payment shown with its receipt in a private client dashboard together with progress, photos, videos and messages. Load-shedding, traffic between venues, rain and hall timings are planned for in advance. Add-ons cover airport pickups and hotels for guests, outfit and jewellery shopping by video call, a private live stream and day-of coordination. For a full wedding, start three to six months ahead, and earlier for December.

Your wedding timeline when you plan from abroad

  1. Three to six months before: free consultation, then a written scope, budget and timeline. Venues are locked first, in writing.
  2. Next: caterers and menus compared on written quotes, tastings and venue visits filmed for you, and critical vendors contracted: décor, photography, sound and makeup.
  3. In the weeks before: Karachi contingencies confirmed, including the generator, load-shedding check, route plan, weather plan and permits, plus guest logistics if you chose that add-on.
  4. In the final week: every vendor reconfirmed and the programme for each function agreed with you.
  5. The wedding days: we run each function on site, with a private live stream for family abroad if you chose it.
  6. Afterwards: a closing report with final vendor settlements and the remaining balance.

Why one planner for the whole wedding

When each function is arranged by a different relative or vendor, nobody owns the gaps between them: the décor team that leaves late, the baraat that arrives during the hall’s closing time, the caterer paid twice. One Client Executive running every function against one budget closes those gaps.

You see the whole wedding in one dashboard: each function as an activity, its sub-tasks marked pending, in progress or completed, and every payment against the budget you approved.

Add-ons families abroad often choose for a wedding

  • Guest Logistics Package: hotel or guest-house rooms near the venue, airport pickups matched to flight times and a daily transport roster.
  • Remote Styling and Shopping Support: outfits, jewellery and gifts bought in Karachi after your written approval, with video-call shopping and receipts.
  • Live Streaming: a private, tested stream with a 4G backup connection and the full recording afterwards.
  • Structured Progress Protocol: a weekly written report, a video call every two weeks and a decision log.

Wedding season in Karachi

December and the winter months are the busiest and most expensive time for weddings in Karachi, and good halls, caterers and photographers book out early. Summer dates can offer better availability, but outdoor functions then need a plan for heat and monsoon rain.

Best for and not ideal for

  • Best for families abroad planning several functions who want one accountable team and one record of every rupee.
  • Best for families who cannot visit Karachi until a few days before the first function.
  • Not ideal if you have already booked every vendor yourself. Day-of Coordination Only may suit you better.
  • Not ideal if the wedding is outside Karachi.

Questions families ask

What does a wedding planner in Karachi do?

A wedding planner in Karachi books and manages the venues, caterers, décor, photography, sound, transport and guest arrangements for each function and runs them on the day. Doorstep Pakistan also contracts every vendor in writing and shows every payment with its receipt in your dashboard.

How early should I book a wedding planner in Karachi?

Three to six months before a full wedding gives the best choice of venues and vendors. For a December wedding, start as early as you can, because the best halls and photographers book out first.

Can you plan just one function, such as the walima?

Yes. We plan single functions as well as full weddings. Each function is set up as its own activity in your dashboard.

Do I need to travel to Karachi before the wedding?

No. You approve options in writing and see photos, videos, contracts and receipts in your dashboard. Many clients first arrive a few days before the mehndi.

Do you book the wedding hall, catering and décor?

Yes. We compare written quotes, book your chosen vendors under written contracts and pay them only from the budget you approved.

Can family abroad watch the wedding live?

Yes, with the Live Streaming add-on. We check the venue internet, set up a 4G backup, run a test stream before the day and deliver the full recording afterwards.

Can you arrange airport pickups and hotels for wedding guests?

Yes, with the Guest Logistics Package: room blocks near the venue, airport pickups matched to flight times and a daily transport roster with named drivers.

What happens on the wedding day if something goes wrong?

Backup options for power, sound and transport are identified in advance. If a vendor fails, your Client Executive switches to the backup, records it in your dashboard and explains any cost impact before anything else is paid.

Can you help with the nikah registration?

We book the nikah khawan, help prepare for the nikahnama and coordinate the practical steps for registration, which is with the local Union Council.
